  1. Great idea, if it didn't leak fluid all the time

    I bought this to use with my lifted Toyota FJ. The first time I used it to rotate the tires it worked great! Since then it leaks fluid from the release petcock to lower the jack. I put more fluid in and it just leaks out again. It seems like there is an internal seal blown or something. Again great idea, but poor bottle jack.

    I bought two of these jacks, used them a couple times...now they leak fluid...one actually no longer works...Is there a replacement hydraulic jack for them? I found that you can remove the jacks when they no longer function just making them jack stands...but the reason I bought them was to use with my 4x4 truck and I need the hydraulic jack...

  3. Great idea - Solves a common problem

    I bought two of these to use when replacing the clutch on my car. The problem with many cars is that you have very limited support points - usually a small reinforced area under the rocker panel. You can jack at that point but the support area isn't big enough to let you place a jack stand and then remove the jack. This product lets you jack and support at the proper spot.

    Jack would be great if it didn't constantly leak hydraulic fluid. Alltrade tools service is poor - nobody ever answers the service line!

    I needed a locking jack. To buy the so called "proper" jacks it was going to be roughly $3500. What I love about these ones...SIMPLE, thats right...SIMPLE, no over engineering or unnesesary junk. If the jack wears out...easy to replace. Why these aren't mass marketed I don't know. Well thats my $0.02.

    When I first saw this jack advertised I knew it would serve my needs better then any other application. I needed a jack to use that would be quick and effortless to do tire rotations on my truck. The lift height was designed with the truck enthusiast in mind and the bottle jack made easy work of lifting a heavy truck. Then the bonus of a jack stand for safety built right in fit the bill perfectly. And the price plus free shipping sealed the deal

    I saw a post regarding the “all-in-one” jack/jack stand on Toyota 4X4 forum back in the winter and couldn’t believe that someone hadn’t thought of it before. It seemed just the ticket for emergency use on and off-road and the price was hard to pass up. By the time I learned of the product, everyone else had as well and it was out of stock. I sent as message to the vendor and received a prompt reply estimating the return to stock and a indicating a follow-up message when they were again available. In about 30 days I received a message and placed the order (free shipping). The jack arrived and all in all proved to be exactly as described. I did have a question regarding the ratchet mechanism being a little stiff and it was promptly replaced with a new unit. The unit consists of a fairly standard jack stand with an attached/built-in bottle jack. It has an adjustable arm, such that it can be raised (pre-adjusted) to the desired position before jacking. This feature allows it to be used with high clearance vehicles and the locking ratchet feature provides an additional safety factor. I’ve used it several times since the purchase and find it far superior to the factory bottle jack that shipped with my truck. It has a large and stable base that stays where you put it and doesn’t slide or roll around like the factory jack. I’ve also used it around the house for lawn mower repair, etc.. I highly recommend this product.. Ron
