Product Description

The Back-Tap's patented collapsible design allows it to engage be placed through the spark plug hole and into the chamber. A mandrel is then drawn back, expanding the tool's threaded area and threading into the clean threads at the bottom of the spark plug hole. The Backtap repairs the damaged threads as it is drawn up through the spark plug hole, bringing debris and metal filings with it. Made in USA. Lifetime warranty.

    This product saved me alot of problems and money due to damaged spark plug threads on HS828 snowblower.

    First three spark plug threads were damaged and this tool fixed my problem in about 15 minutes.

    On top of all, you will receive a A1 service for the same price !

    The product was a life saver for fixing some bad threads on a 1999 subaru outback. Because of the limited clearance, I had to drill a hole in the body to access the spark plug hole, but the tool did the job and saved me several hundred dollars.

    My only other comment is the tool is only about 6" long and for my application I could have used a tool twice that length, but I still highly recommmend it.
