For compressing valve springs with the cylinder head removed from engine. Powerful lever action tool has handle on the outside. Throat depth is 9-3/4". Jaws open from 3-1/4" to 8-1/2" to fit large displacement engines. Interchangeable offset and straight jaws are included. Chrome and black oxide.   1. Best damn valve spring compressor you can buy!

    I rented one from a local auto parts house and after using it, I had to buy one. They make changing valves a breeze. I used it on a 1948 flathead engine it worked fantastic. You can't buy a valve spring compressor for any amount of money that comes close to this one. It has a great almost ratcheting lock to lock the spring in position so you can work on it. The quality is excellent. You bet I recommend it. If I was in the auto tool industry, I would distribute the power built line of tools.
